Our personnel

	Crystal Nuuttila / Playschool Director, Montessori Teacher Crystal (pronounced ´Kristal´) has been the Director since 1988 and has taught preschool and the 3-5 child group. She was raised in a small Danish community near Santa Barbara, California. She has enjoyed living in Mäntsälä since 1988, and her two sons attended Playschool. She has studies in developmental psychology and degrees: Sosionomi (AMK) - with pre and primary education emphasis, and the Higher National Diploma in Care Facility Management. Crystal completed her AMI -Montessori Teacher training in 2009, and has first aid training.
	Mervi Luotonen / Kindergarten and Montessori Teacher Mervi joined the Playschool personnel and moved to Mäntsälä in 2008. She has a long career in childcare and preschool education that has included temporary work as a Special Education Teacher and in Montessori Daycare. She attended the AMI Montessori Teacher studies in 2007-2009. When working with children, she likes to empazise drama and physical education. Mervi has completed first aid training.
	Riikka Erkkilä / Practical Nurse, Sosionomi (AMK) Riikka began work at the Playschool in autumn 2011. She lives in Hyvinkää with her husband, two daughters and two sons. She has worked as a Practical Nurse and as a Kindergarten Teacher in Hyvinkää, Kerava and Vuosaari. Riikka wishes to work in a Montessori environment, and in the Montessori spirit, appreciates the child`s role as an active learner and the inspiring prepared learning environment. Riikka is dreaming of becoming a Montessori Teacher.
	Anni Paakkinen / Montessori Teacher Anni joined the Playschool personnel in autumn 2009 after completing her AMI - Montessori Teacher studies in spring 2009. Before working in Mäntsälä she worked for four years in Tuusula's Montessori Playschool. Anni is studying for her sosionomi (AMK) degree, and has completed first aid training.
	Paula Virkki / Montessori Assistant Paula started her work during the autumn of 2011. She has lived and studied in the US. She has worked in the fields of health care, social work and education both in the US as well as in Finland. Paula became interested in Montessori education through her own children's experiences. She is continuing her studies in Finland, and has completed the SPR First Aid 1 course.
	Tuija Grönroos / School Care Services (nutrition, hygiene and housekeeping) Tuija began work at the Playschool in autumn 2011. She has worked in charge of the food service in Saviaho kindergarten in Mäntsälä. Her daily duties include: providing children's basic care, food service, housekeeping, and helping with a variety of children's activities. Tuija has completed first aid training.
